One of the most popular Zimbabwean instruments is the mbira. There are many types of the mbira, the most famous of which are the nhare, mbira dzavadzimu, and the nyunga-nyunga. The nyunga-nyunga mbira is a 15-key mbira and is taught from primary school to University level in Zimbabwe

 

 

 

 

The instument to the left is called the Zimbabwean marimba or the Zimarimba

 

The instrument to the right is the hosho. they are a pair of maranka gourds with seeds (Essentially maracas)
